Polyoxyxylene oxide (PPO), also known as polyphenylene ether (PPE), is a high-temperature thermoplastic. It is one of the five general engineering plastics in the world. It has the advantages of high rigidity, high heat resistance, flame resistance, high strength and excellent electrical properties. Polyoxyxylene is an amorphous thermoplastic polymer. In order to facilitate processing, polyoxyxylene is often mixed with PS polystyrene, SBR high impact styrene butadiene copolymer or PA polyamide in industry.
